Wire and cable industry development overview

Summary

The wire and cable industry is the second largest industry in China after the automobile industry, with a product variety satisfaction rate and a domestic market share of over 90%. Worldwide, China's total wire and cable output value has surpassed that of the United States, becoming the world's largest wire and cable production control cable

With the rapid development of China's wire and cable industry, the number of new companies has continued to rise and the overall technical level of the industry has been greatly improved.

The development prospects of the wire and cable industry in China

The sustained and rapid growth of China's economy has provided huge market space for cable products. The strong temptation of the Chinese market has made the world focus on the Chinese market. In just a few decades of reform and opening up, China's cable manufacturing industry The huge production capacity formed has made the world look at it with admiration. With the continuous expansion of China's power industry, data communication industry, urban rail transit industry, automobile industry, shipbuilding and other industries, the demand for wire and cable will also grow rapidly, and the wire and cable industry still has huge development potential in the future.

The impact of the financial crisis on the cable industry

In November 2008, in response to the global financial crisis, my country's government decided to invest 4 trillion yuan to stimulate domestic demand, of which more than 40% was used for the construction and transformation of urban and rural power grids. The national wire and cable industry has a good market opportunity again. Wire and cable companies in various regions seize the opportunity to welcome a new round of urban and rural power grid construction and transformation.

Control cable price calculation

The price formula of the control cable is as follows: copper weight x copper price calculation: wire warp ÷ 2 = 1.25 x 1.25 x 3.14 = square number x number of wires x 0.89 x current copper price + 10% processing fee.

Cost price calculation of control cable

square X 1.83 = copper weight X copper price at the time + armor price (weight X 0.4 yuan/kg) = cost price + 10% processing fee

Cable price = manufacturing material cost + fixed expenses + tax + business expenses + profit

Manufacturing material cost = material cost * (1 + material consumption) (material cost is the theoretically calculated value)

Fixed expenses vary according to the situation of each company, generally including production wages, management wages, utilities, repairs, depreciation, rent, transportation costs

Control cable fault repair

Common faults of control cable lines include mechanical damage, insulation damage, insulation damp, insulation deterioration, overvoltage, cable overheating faults, etc. When the above-mentioned fault occurs in the line, the power supply of the faulty cable should be cut off, the fault point should be found, the fault should be checked and analyzed, and then repair and test should be carried out. The power supply can be restored after the removal of the fault.

The main electrical properties of control cables

1. DC resistance: 20℃, 0.4mm copper wire, less than or equal to 148Ω/km, 0.5mm copper wire, less than or equal to 95Ω/km.

2. Insulation electric strength: 1min 1kv no breakdown between conductors, 1min 3kv no breakdown between conductors and shielding

3. Insulation resistance: each core wire is grounded to the rest of the core, the control cable is greater than 10000MΩ.km, and the HYAT cable is greater than 3000MΩ.km.

4. Working capacitance: average 52±2nF/km

5. Far-end crosstalk defense: The average power of the specified combination at 150kHZ is greater than 69dB/km.
